The JumpSTART Pediatric Multicasualty Triage Tool

Lou E. Romig MD, FAAP, FACEP, a pediatric emergency, EMS and disaster physician at the Miami (FL) Children's Hospital, developed JumpSTART (JS) to help meet the needs of children and responders at disaster/MCI scenes. JS is now widely used for primary pediatric MCI triage in the US and Canada and is gaining popularity around the world. JumpSTART is Dr. Romig's gift to our children and her fellow emergency responders. All JS and other materials on this website may be downloaded free of charge for educational or protocol purposes.
